The Son of Apple

The British Photography Awards 2024 Fine Art Category Short listed work

Recreating the Western painting “The Son of Man” by Rene Magritte.
A modern twist of using the iPhone Apple instead of a green apple from the original painting. Displaying the anonymity of social media by covering the face and the cable around the man shows how attached we are to technology.

ルネ・マグリット「人の子」の現代風再現。原画のりんごの代わりにiPhoneのアップルを使う事によって、SNSの匿名性と共に取り憑かれている現代の人々を表現した作品。
